Export now

Preserve your Simply Plural data before the shutdown window closes.

PluralBridge exists to help users make a local copy of their Simply Plural data while the public API and original service are still available.

The urgent part is the export

As currently announced, the Simply Plural servers are expected to shut down on July 1, 2026, with user data and avatars permanently deleted after shutdown. A local export gives each user a preserved copy that can be used by later tools, viewers, reports, database imports, and migration work.

What the current export is meant to do

What users should understand first

The current workflow is script-based. It is aimed at preservation first, with friendlier tools planned later. Users who can install software and follow instructions should be able to run the export path, and developers can inspect or improve the GPL v3.0 source code directly.

1. Install requirements

Set up the local software needed to run the scripts.

Go to Install

2. Run the scripts

Use the current workflow to export local JSON files.

Go to Run

3. Protect the output

Keep tokens, JSON files, notes, avatars, and backups private.
